Welcome

Welcome to Chestnut Nursery School. We are a Devon County Council maintained Nursery School and provide places for 2-4-year-olds.

We want children to be excited about coming to nursery and to love learning. We want them to be motivated, tuned in, and challenged. Most of all, we want children to know that success is in each and every one of them and comes as a result of their own effort. We want to bring it out. We want to give them the belief that they can improve and learn, and to be delighted and proud of their many achievements.

At Chestnut Nursery School we are registered to teach the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and we follow the EYFS framework set by the government. For more information about our approach to learning please visit our Curriculum page.
